Reiki – a new age Japanese hands on healing technique has its roots in Indian culture. A Japanese Buddhist monk, Dr. Michao Usui came to India in search of this long forgotten Yogic technique and after attaining this wonderful gift through deep meditation. He wanted to give this power a new name so that he can spread this healing in his own country. Thus the new name Reiki came into existence. |

The science of this wonderful divine healing is based on Kundalini Yoga – which is a very secret and sacred chapter of Yoga Sastra. Bodhisathva Reiki Healing and Training Centre is established in November 2000 at Thrissur, Kerala, South India for the purpose of providing the benefits of Reiki Healing and Training to every common man, who require it. Mrs. Jyothi A. an international Reiki Master Teacher who is in this line of activity for a decade, heads this centre. Regular classes are being conducted for Reiki training as well as for those people, who prefer to under go Reiki healing treatment. Reiki attunements/ initiations are given to students at various centers in many major towns and cities in India and out side. And the master had the opportunity to give a class on Reiki Ryoho at Boston in USA to a group of intellectuals. So far more than 2600 members have taken advantage of this alternative method of training and became Reiki channels/ practitioners, through this association. |
